1. INTRODUCTION:

To increase the level of security while printing your Bill of Lading online, you will need to install IRM Client for Adobe Acrobat on your PC. IRM Client will improve security by:

• The B/L set can only be printed once, limiting the risk of the original being printed and circulated fraudulently
• There will be an audit trail of events, dates and times. Activities like viewing, amending and printing will be logged and time stamped and can be consulted in the application.
• The original B/L can be sent as an attachment on an e-mail to receivers who can open it as long as:
  1. they are mentioned as a party on the Bill of Lading
  2. they are registered as a user of Safmarine.com
  3. they have installed the IRM Client for Adobe Acrobat software

2. INSTALLATION GUIDE:

Step 1: Download IRM for Adobe Acrobat here

Step 2: When a "File Download - Security Warning" pop up, click "Run"

Step 3: You will now see a "Internet Explorer - Security Warning", click "Run" 

Step 4: Click "Yes" to accept the Lisence Agreement.

Step 5: Now the system will start installing IRM for Adobe Acrobat into your computer. 
Once done, you will see the below screen. Click "Finish" to complete the installation.
